Nurturing healthy growth, confident eating and a calmer mealtime—one small step at a time. Our Accredited Practising Dietitians and feeding therapists put your child at the heart of every plan, with in-clinic, home-visit and Telehealth care across Melbourne and Australia-wide.

Is every mealtime a struggle?
Your little one might refuse whole food groups, react to certain foods, gag at new textures, or simply not be growing the way you’d hoped. Feeding worries can leave parents feeling anxious and alone. You’re not alone—and you’re not doing anything wrong.
At NutriBlooms, our paediatric dietitians use gentle, evidence-based methods for babies, toddlers, children and teens. We turn confusion into a clear, practical plan your whole family can follow—at home, at the clinic, or wherever you are in Australia.
Healthy habits planted in childhood grow into lifelong wellbeing.

Choose the level of support that suits your family
Some families come for a single consultation; others want a structured, step-by-step pathway. Both options are available, and your dietitian will help you choose.
Consultations & packages
Book an individual consultation, or choose a session package for continuity of care across several appointments—ideal for ongoing feeding, allergy or growth support.
13-week feeding support framework
A structured framework over 13 weeks for families who want a clear, guided pathway through feeding challenges, with regular check-ins and a plan that adapts as your child progresses. Every child is different and your dietitian will set the pace together with you.
What to expect—a child-friendly pathway
- Get in touch. We listen to your concerns and match you with the right paediatric dietitian for your child.
- Initial consultation (45–60 min). A thorough growth, feeding and medical assessment, plus a detailed look at your child’s eating patterns and nutrition.
- Your personalised action plan. Clear, practical objectives, agreed goals and realistic milestones—meal ideas, feeding strategies and growth monitoring tailored to your child.
- Your support pathway. A defined map of next steps and how ongoing support is structured, including a resource pack with age-appropriate handouts, recipe guides and helpful tools.
- Follow-up & coaching. Regular check-ins to celebrate wins, troubleshoot hurdles and adapt the plan as your child grows.
Every child is unique. Your dietitian tailors care to your child’s medical history, needs and family circumstances, and works alongside your GP, paediatrician and broader care team—such as occupational therapists, speech pathologists and psychologists—where appropriate. Individual results vary.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a GP referral to see a paediatric dietitian?
No referral is required for private bookings. A GP referral and care plan are needed if you’d like to claim Medicare CDM/EPC rebates.
What ages do you see?
We support children from infancy (starting solids) right through to adolescence (up to 18 years).
What’s the difference between fussy eating and ARFID—and when should I seek help?
Many children go through phases of fussy eating that improve with time and supportive strategies. When a child’s diet becomes very limited, affects growth, raises nutritional concerns, or causes high anxiety around meals, it may signal a more complex feeding difficulty such as ARFID—and professional assessment can help. If you’re unsure, get in touch and we’ll guide you.
What happens in the first appointment?
Your first consultation runs for 45–60 minutes and includes a comprehensive growth, feeding and medical assessment plus a detailed look at your child’s nutrition. You’ll leave with a clear, personalised action plan and a defined pathway for next steps.
Do you offer hands-on food therapy, and where?
Yes. In-person food therapy sessions are currently available at our Blackburn, Epping and Lilydale clinics. Paediatric consultations are available at all six clinics, via home visits within about 20 km, and via Telehealth Australia-wide.
Can you support NDIS participants?
Yes. NutriBlooms is a registered NDIS provider and experienced in supporting children with complex and additional needs, including self-, plan- and agency-managed participants.
Do you work with my child’s other health professionals?
Yes. We liaise and collaborate with your child’s broader care team—GPs, paediatricians, occupational therapists, speech pathologists and psychologists—so feeding and nutrition support fits within their overall care.
How many sessions will my child need?
This varies with every child. At your first visit, your dietitian will recommend an approximate number of sessions as part of your child’s action plan, and review it together with you as your child progresses.
Do you offer online appointments?
Absolutely. Our secure Telehealth platform brings paediatric nutrition support to your home, wherever you are in Australia.
