Do I need a referral to see a dietitian?

No, you do not need a referral to see a dietitian. You can call us directly or book online via our website

How much do diet consultations cost?

This varies depending on your service and consultation type.

What is the cancellation policy at NutriBlooms?

You can cancel or reschedule your appointment with a minimum of 48-hour notice period.
If less than
48 hours, than a 50% cancellation fees apply.

EPC – Medicare and Insurance FAQ

I have a care plan EPC, is the Body Composition Analysis covered by Medicare?

One Free Body Composition Analysis is included with the initial consultation.

Is bulk billing available for diet consultations at NutriBlooms?

An out-of-pocket fee applies for the initial 60-minute consultation (Includes Body Composition Scan). Nevertheless, follow up consultations are bulk billed with optional Body Composition Scan if needed. Visit our Prices page for more details.

Are Diet Consultations covered by private insurance?

Your consultation may be covered by private insurance, please review your insurance cover. We will provide You with an invoice and you can submit to your insurance company for claiming the amount.

Are diet packages and programs covered by private insurance?

We can issue an invoice with the dates of your appointments to submit to your insurance company for claiming. The amount you can claim will depends on your level of coverage.

Our Packages and Diet Programs FAQ

Do I need to pay upfront for the diet packages and programs?

Yes, an upfront payment is required, this will allow your dietitian to start working on your bespoke program.

Does the 13-Week Weight Management Program have an expiry date?

Yes, be ready to engage and commit. The program ends after 13 weeks from the first consultation.

Can I get a refund for change of mind?

Unfortunately, no. Please feel free to discuss your concerns with the dietitian before committing, as packages and programs require a lot of preparation and efforts.

Is there an expiry date for New Client Package and Review Sessions Package?

No, there is no expiry date for packages


Can you provide a NDIS report?

Yes, we do provide a NDIS report upon request.

How can I book an appointment for NDIS patient?

Simply fill up and submit the NDIS referral form, and we will be in touch with you within 24 hours. Please visit our NDIS page


Does NutriBlooms accept DVA card holders?

Yes! We only accept DVA Veteran Gold cards as payment with a DVA D904 referral from your GP

InBody Scan FAQ

How to prepare for InBody scan?

Do not eat or drink in 1 to 2 hours before your scan appointment
Do not exercise 1 to 2 hours before your scan
Avoid showering before the scan
Wear light clothes and try to wear the same or similar clothes for all future scan appointments
Use the bathroom before your scan
NOT suitable for pregnant women, or any candidate with pacemaker or similar electronic implanted device

How long does an InBody scan take?

The scan is completed in 60 seconds. However, the scan appointment is 10 min as it includes explanation of your result.

Does the InBody scan package has an expiry date?

No, there is no expiry date for the scan package.
